THOMANURE - Sheep Manure

THIS IS NOT A "REAL" COMPANY - THIS WEBSITE HAS BEEN CREATED AS A RESURRECTION OF AN OLD UNIVERSITY ASSIGNMENT I DID IN 2001. The assignment was for a paper called E-Marketing at the Waikato Institute of Technology, based on a small casual enterprise I was running at the time selling sheep manure. Please visit the Company history page to learn more about the history of how I got into sheep manure.

Product Facts and Usage

Facts:
As you know, or would have deducted, Sheep manure comes from sheep.
An adult sheep’s diet consists mainly of grass, clover, and water. Manure is made up of 3 major nutrients, Nitrogen (N) 3%. Phosphorus (P) 2%, and Potassium (K) 5%. Nitrogen stimulates thick, rich green growth of plants. Phosphorus stimulates early root maturity and promotes seed growth. Potassium maintains overall plant health and aids in forming beautiful healthy blooms.
Sheep manure improves the soil structure and increases microbial and earthworm activity in the soil. In addition to Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium, it provides a full range of natural trace elements.

Sheep Manure can be applied at any time of the year, it may be dug into the soil 2 weeks prior to planting or added when planting takes place.

How to use it:

Trees and Shrubs (New) Apply several handfuls at planting time, mixing evenly with existing soil.
(Existing) Apply enough to cover the soil 2 or 3cms deep, to drip line off the plants.

Vegetable and Flower Gardens. Dig in several spadefuls per square metre, making sure to mix thoroughly with existing soil.

Containers. Sheep Manure is ideal to add to outdoor containers as a mulch and to enrich the potting mix. Just sprinkle around the top of the container and water in well.

As a liquid nutrient. For established plants mix in 1kg of manure in 10 litres of water, and apply as a liquid manure.

Remember- Thomanure is only $5 a Bag.
